PG Cert in AV Post Production: Editing Projects

This set comprises three distinct videos, specifically created as part of the assessment exercises for the Editing, Deliverables, and Sound modules on the PG Cert in Audio Visual Post production offered at Queen's University Belfast (QUB). Distinction grade achieved in all three modules.

The Farmer

The assignment required the editing of a factual/documentary sequence, with a duration requirement of between 2 and 5 minutes. Created using provided footage focusing on Vince McIntyre, an Irish immigrant and Irish-Canadian farmer residing in Southern Ontario, Canada, who is noted for his dedication to simple living and the application of old farming techniques. The supplied editing materials, provided by EditStock from the original film "Shaped by Hand" by Elias Koch, included over an hour of interview footage with Vince McIntyre and nearly 500 B-roll clips. Music: "Nowhere to be" by Cory Alstad.

Good Tortillas

The assignment involved editing supplied kitchen scene footage, obtained from EditStock and originating from the film The Dishwasher, directed by Nick Hartanto and Sam Roden. The objective was to produce a 2-3 minute drama scene that effectively demonstrated continuity and followed the narrative structure provided by a supplied script. The scene incorporated music tracks titled Coconut Grove by PrettySleepy and Upbeat by Purnanand Wasave.

The Contender

The assignment required the creation of a montage sequence, 2-3 minutes in length, featuring a fighter training in their home city. The footage was supplied by EditStock, and the music track used was "ROCKSTAR" by LITESATURATION.
